The Suites

The Global Village is the best dormitory on the Soonchunhyang campus as well as one of the best dormitories in Korea. This modern facility was built in 2006 for the sole purpose of fitting the needs of the international and Korean students residing together. The dormitory is configured in "suite style" living arrangements which allows 12 students to live in 1 suite. Each suite has 2 bathrooms, 2 showers, 2 sinks and six sleeping rooms that are connected by a common living room furnished with a couch. Every room has air-conditioning.

Living Rooms

In every suite in the Global Village dormitory there is a communal living room. It is furnished with a couch, table and air conditioner.

Sleeping Rooms

Each suite is composed of six sleeping rooms. Each room houses two students. Suites are divided into male and female. There are no co-ed rooms or suites. Each room contains enough storage space for all of your personal items.

Bathrooms

In every suite in the Global Village dormitory there is a communal living room. It is furnished with a couch, table and air conditioner.

Haeoreum Facilities

Next to the Global Village dormitory there is the Haeoreum building. Starting in March 2010 this building will also house international students in the Asian Studies program. The dormitory layout in Haeoreum has two, two person rooms sharing one bathroom. contains several features that allow students to interact with each other in casual and social enviornments, such as a norae bang (or Korean style Karaoke singin room), pool hall, racketball courts, health gym, and cafeteria with American style hot dogs!
